My family and I moved to Danville on the 2 year plan 27 years ago. Not long after I moved here, someone asked if I have lived here all my life. I replied that I had only lived here a couple of years but lived here all my life. I grew up in farming communities very much like ours.
Through the years, I have enjoyed getting to know the people and history of Vermilion County. Our family now has deep roots in the commuunity.
I became a real estate agent in 2004. I have been part of some wonderful teams and have met and served special people. I taught pre-license classes before online courses became so popular. I use that same attitude to educate my clients on the quirks and nuances of buying and selling a home. In 2016, I stepped away to lead a non-profit in our community, but held on to my license.
2023 was a year of transition for us and I rejoined Classic Homes. If I am not answering my phone, I am probably reliving my childhood playing with little ones. Chances are you will see me at the softball field or soccer pitch watching granddaughters.
My best advice for buyers and sellers is to interview agents like you would anyone who will be working for you. Find someone you trust and get along with. Vermilion County the best is yet to come.
